It’s been a chilly week here at HME News World HQ, with temps in the low single digits dipping into the negative double digits. 

Last winter was my first back in southern Maine after living along the Canadian border, and it was warm and wonderful, with only about two snowstorms.

I've been asking providers for three weeks now how the PMD demo is going. Also on the to-be-bothered list are the usual suspects in mobility – Simon Margolis of NRRTS, Don Clayback at NCART, Seth Johnson at Pride… I've even asked Walt Gorski at AAHomecare.

I don’t know if I’m cranky this morning or what (I am disappointed with myself for breaking a week of caffeine-free living yesterday), but CMS’s handing of this new PMD demo is really rubbing me the wrong way.
