Don't DENY yourself...or Congress...this book

We got an e-mail from Invacare's Mark Sullivan over the weekend, letting us know that he'll soon be publishing a new book, "DENIED," a photographic essay about complex rehab technology. Here's a blurb from his e-mail:

(The book) is written to inform those involved in shaping the future of people with disabilities (about) new wheelchair technology. It is specifically intended to make a case for reversing the "in the home" restriction that hampers community access and the development of better wheelchair technology."

864560-0ff180376e40ca4bf3e97f4272e7143c3Sullivan, Invacare's vice president of rehab, hopes people will buy the book and provide it to their representatives and senators, and payers. It features a foreward by Marilyn Hamilton.

Preview the book here. For more on Sullivan and DENIED, check out the November issue of HME News.
