I got this in my inbox last week, and I apologize for not making it known sooner:

Complex rehab industry expert Cody Verrett joins ATG Rehab as VP of sales and marketing

[ROCKY HILL, Conn., March 18, 2010] -- Cody Verrett, ATP has joined ATG Rehab as vice president of sales and marketing, bringing 13 years of diverse experience to one of the industry's leading national complex rehab providers.

"Cody's broad experience with complex rehab equipment in client, clinical and manufacturing environments made him a perfect choice to lead our sales and marketing efforts," said ATG Rehab President and CEO Paul Bergantino. "His in-depth knowledge of equipment fit and function— as well as the needs of our customers—will provide valuable support to both our ATPs across the country and to our clinical rehab partners."

Before joining ATG Rehab, Verrett served as national sales director for Quantum Rehab, a division of Pride Mobility Products Corp, an ATG manufacturing partner. In addition to national sales director, his 10-year tenure at the company encompassed several key positions including manufacturer's sales representative, product manager and director of education.

While working in Pride's R&D Department, Verrett was influential in the development of Quantum's Q6 Series of power wheelchairs, Q-Logic Drive Control System, and the Tru-Balance Power Positioning System.

As Quantum's director of education, Verrett dramatically increased the company's CEU-based educational offerings and created a RESNA-ATP exam and prep course to aid candidates' certification efforts. As national sales director for the past three years, Verrett helped Quantum achieve 37 percent growth and exceeded company expectations in sales for 2009.

"Having been on the manufacturing and product development side of the business for more than 10 years, I was looking for opportunity to reinvent myself within this industry," said Verrett. "I am excited to be working with ATG's account teams as we seek new opportunities to help complex rehab facilities provide the very best mobility and seating technologies to clients."
