ORLANDO, Fla. - With spring just around the corner, it's time for one of the HME industry's biggest events for women's health providers.

This year's "Focus on the Future Conference and Tradeshow" is scheduled for March 11-13 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel in Orlando, Fla. The annual event, hosted by buying group Essentially Women, features a full slate of educational seminars and networking events.

Some of the highlights this year:

D. Scott Williamson, of Quality Outcomes, will discuss how to manage the details of running a business, and still find time to focus on patients.

"It's Time for Political Action--Influence Your Congressman and Get Your Clients Involved."

March 13, 9:15 am to 10:15 am

It's no secret that the home medical equipment industry is under siege and women's health boutiques are not immune. The VGM Group's John Gallagher will discuss the importance of providers and their patients forging relationships with lawmakers. Among the insights he offers: How to develop a local grassroots campaign and how to drum up media interest.
