New vent provider launches

NORWOOD, Mass. - Integrated Vent Solutions has launched to serve as the sole distributor of the VOCSN in New England. The VOCSN is a portable device from Ventec Life Systems that combines a ventilator, oxygen concentrator, cough assist, suction and nebulizer into one unified system. “Patients need, and deserve, medical devices that improve their health and make their lives easier,” said Eric Mongeau, IVS managing director, in a press release. We are proud to provide our patients with a device that does both. VOCSN will dramatically enhance the day-to-day and long-term quality of life for patients and their families.” CMS in July proposed establishing specific fee schedule amounts for multi-function vents.
