OPGA supports ‘So Every BODY Can Move’ relay

WATERLOO, Iowa – The Orthotic and Prosthetic Group of America (OPGA) has announced its support for "So Every BODY Can Move," an organization dedicated to ensuring individuals with limb loss and limb difference can access life-changing prosthetic and orthotic care. Through a series of state-by-state legislative actions, "So Every BODY Can Move" is working to expand access to these essential medical services, enabling everyone to enjoy the benefits of physical activity. To show its support, OPGA is supporting the 198-mile, 36-hour Hood To Coast Relay taking place on Aug. 25-26. This event serves as a platform to raise awareness and vital funds that will drive the movement for disability rights and fuel the ongoing legislative changes across the nation. "We strongly believe that physical activity is a right, not a privilege," said Adam Miller, president, OPGA. "Our support of 'So Every BODY Can Move' reflects our dedication to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of their physical abilities, have the means to live active and fulfilling lives."
