Reliable Respiratory names medical director to advance evidence-based care

NORWOOD, Mass. – Reliable Respiratory, a family-owned company that provides respiratory and durable medical equipment throughout the United States, has appointed Samuel Falkson, MD, as its medical director. Falkson will lead the development and review of clinical policies and procedures, oversee staff education and training initiatives, and help advance the company’s commitment to evidence-based care through clinical reports and peer-reviewed publications. “Reliable Respiratory has always been more than a business to me,” Falkson said. “It has been a part of my family's story. I'm honored to take on this role and look forward to helping the company continue its tradition of compassionate, high-quality care while supporting innovation and clinical excellence for the patients and communities we serve.” Falkson has been affiliated with Reliable Respiratory as a clinical consultant for several years. His new role at Reliable Respiratory follows the completion of his anesthesiology residence at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. During his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, he led and contributed to numerous initiatives focused on improving patient safety, operational efficiency, and the quality of perioperative care. He also serves as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve Medical Corps.
