Starck appointed to Apria board

LAKE FOREST, Calif. - Daniel Starck, CEO of Apria Healthcare's respiratory and HME unit, has been appointed to the company's board of directors, according to a Dec. 16 announcement. Starck joined Apria in April 2012 after serving as CEO of workers' compensation company CorVel Corp. for five years. He previously held a variety of positions at Apria, according to the release. In a statement, Chairman John Figueroa called Starck an “ideal” board member, saying, “In a very short period of time, Dan Starck has led the steady improvement in overall operating and financial performance of our respiratory therapy/home medical equipment business during a time of unprecedented change in the industry.” Starck will fill the seat recently vacated by Michael Dal Bello, who resigned from the board following his departure from The Blackstone Group.
