Students job shadow at Pride

EXETER, Pa. - Pride Mobility Products and Quantum Rehab recently hosted 21 students with disabilities during their Disability Mentoring Day at their facility here. The day is designed to bring students and job seekers with disabilities into the workplace through hands-on career exploration, on-site job shadowing and ongoing mentoring, leading to internship and employment opportunities. Lake-Lehman Junior/Senior High School student Daniel Stefanowicz, who has cerebral palsy, enjoyed watching Pride's sales team at work. “I have an interest in business and marketing,” he stated in a press release. “It was fun to see them place orders and interact with people from all over the country.” The day included remarks from Chairman and CEO Scott Meuser, a tour of the facility and test lab, and product demos. Pride's Disability Mentoring Day is part of a nationwide event hosted by the American Association of People with Disabilities.
