Bonafide Medical introduces patient portal

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Bonafide Medical Software Solutions is launching an online patient portal to HME businesses, allowing patients to purchase DME supplies and make payments using their credit card, according to a press release. The portal is HIPAA-compliant, and is a secure way of transmitting patient information and credit card details, the release said. “Our software integrates patient intake, inventory management, point-of-sale, EMR and billing using real-time data,” stated Wayne Bailey, director of marketing and sales, Bonafide Medical. The portal is paperless and cloud-based, and uses barcode technology to interface with insurance payers, shipping companies and the worldwide distribution chain.
