DASCO partners with health network

COLUMBUS, Ohio - DASCO Home Medical Equipment has entered into a joint venture with Mountain Health Network to offer patients in Ohio and West Virginia a smoother transition from hospital to home, according to the Herald Dispatch. The new venture, DASCO-Mountain Health Home Medical Equipment, will specialize in respiratory products and services, the newspaper reported. “This agreement helps us improve the continuum of quality care for our patients and offer a choice after they leave our facilities,” said Michael Mullins, president and CEO of Mountain Health Network. “We'll have more influence in the quality, inventory and expense of home medical equipment as we make the most of DASCO's long-time expertise in the business.” Huntington, West Va.-based Mountain Health Network owns Cabell Huntington Hospital and St. Mary's Medical Center. DASCO opened a new facility in Huntington earlier this month.
