From CGMs to urology: Cardinal Health’s at-Home segment shows category strength

Jason HollarDUBLIN, Ohio – Cardinal Health’s at-Home Solutions saw revenue growth of 51% in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026. The beauty of that, said CEO Jason Hollar: Both at-Home's core and acquired Advanced Diabetes Supply (ADS) businesses are firing on all cylinders.

“While we’re not breaking out specifically ADS, what we’re saying is that both the core, as well as the acquisition, are significant contributors to both of those numbers,” said Hollar during a recent conference call to discuss the company’s latest financial results. “So, it’s not just the acquisition driving either one of those metrics. They’re both very strong, because of the acquisition, as well as our core performance.”

Along with at-Home, the Other segment comprises Nuclear and Precision Health Solutions and OptiFreight Logistics, which saw 17% and 21% revenue growth in the first quarter, respectively. Overall, the segment posted 38% revenue growth and 60% profit growth.

The integration of ADS into at-Home continues – “with earlier realization of planned synergies,” said CFO Aaron Alt. Cardinal Health finalized its acquisition of the national provider of diabetes supplies specializing in continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) in April 2025.

“They have leaned into the integration,” he said. “And we’ve very pleased with the synergies they are achieving quickly. We are quickly moving volume from their third-party provider into our network. Our revenues will go up 33% – but only using 2% of our capacity.”

Both Hollar and Alt emphasized that at-Home is seeing strength across categories – urology, CGM, enteral – and they expect that to continue.

“Overall, what I think is so fantastic about this quarter for the Other segment is that broad strength that we’re seeing across those businesses, executing to the plans, the strategies (and) the actions that we’ve laid out,” Hollar said.
