Rhythm: Global expansion will fuel US offerings

Mitch YoelNEW YORK – Rhythm Healthcare made a strategic leap into the European and Canadian markets in September – a move that COO Mitch Yoel says will make the company’s “whole engine stronger.”

The company launched Rhythm Healthcare France, a new subsidiary that will lead operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, under the leadership of Flavien Dubiel. It also announced an exclusive partnership with KEGO Corp. to distribute its P2-E Portable Oxygen Concentrators to providers in Canada.

“Rhythm’s expansion into Europe and Canada isn’t about chasing new markets for the sake of growth,” Yoel said. “It’s about making the whole engine stronger. By diversifying geographically, we reduce dependence on any one reimbursement environment and gain the volume we need to keep driving costs down — and that scale, ultimately, flows right back into the U.S. business. It’s how we keep investing in innovation, pricing stability and industry disruptive value-added programs.”

In addition to its international expansion, Rhythm made several other key moves in September:

U.S. success fuels global expansion

“We’ve grown tremendously year over year, five years in a row – all of that has been organic growth within the U.S.,” Yoel said. “We do intend to supplement our organic growth with M&A in 2026.”

Global standards elevate U.S. operations

“We’ve invested in people, products and distribution centers to support our European partnerships, and we’ve built a world-class regulatory infrastructure that meets the most stringent global standards,” Yoel said. “Those same QA and compliance systems are already making our U.S. operations stronger — you can’t operate globally without tightening every screw in your process. Expanding globally forces you to raise your standards. That discipline makes us a better partner at home.”

Expanding the product portfolio abroad

Rhythm plans to gradually introduce its full line of stationary, portable, and transportable concentrators to Europe and Canada, Yoel says.

Global scale, local impact

“With broader international distribution, Rhythm gains greater buying power, deeper manufacturing partnerships, and faster feedback loops on product performance,” Yoel said. “That translates into more competitive pricing, improved service reliability and a pipeline of globally tested solutions that U.S. customers can continue to trust to deliver consistent quality and better patient outcomes.”
