Synapse Health taps former Integra exec as new CFO

SKOKIE, Ill. – Synapse Health has named Jay Shah as CFO. He joins Synapse's expanding executive leadership team, bringing 20 years of deep expertise in finance and the DME ecosystem to the role, most recently at Integra Partners, where he served as CFO. “Jay’s strong business acumen and hands-on experience in the DME industry make him an exciting addition to our growing leadership team,” said Cory Roberts, co-founder and CEO of Synapse Health. “Having someone of his caliber join our mission to improve the DME experience for patients, prescribers and DME providers underscores the power and promise of our unique, tech-enabled model. He will be a key leader in our efforts to transform the DME industry toward value-based care.” Shah has also held several leadership roles at American Express Company, including vice president and CFO, global commercial payments, where he oversaw operating results across the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Additionally, he has served as vice president and CFO at Global Prepaid Group and Global Real Estate Group. “Joining Synapse allows me to leverage the lessons I’ve learned in the DME space to advance a more streamlined, patient-centered experience for all stakeholders,” said Shah. “I look forward to supporting the expansion of our DME provider network and finding new ways to foster mutually beneficial partnerships across the industry.
