TORRANCE, Calif. - Convaid, a manufacturer of customized mobility devices, has teamed up with a Girl Scout Troop to donate wheelchairs to children who lost equipment during Hurricane Sandy, according to a press release. Convaid was one of several companies contacted by Girl Scout Haley Rodenfeld, a member of Troop 5227 in Staten Island, who sought to help those affected by the storm.
