WASHINGTON – CMS has published fee schedule adjustments of +5% or more for DMEPOS for calendar year 2022.
Adjustments differ depending on whether the items serviced are competitive bidding program (CBP) items or in former competitive bidding areas (CBAs). Below is the breakdown:
CBP items in former CBAs: +5%
CBP items in non-CBAs: +5.4%

WASHINGTON – CMS has published an adjusted fee schedule for oxygen therapy for April 2021 that doesn’t include a percentage reduction to meet the budget neutrality requirement.
The adjustments result in an increase in fee schedule amounts ranging from $6.72 to $8.19 in former competitive bidding areas; $5.17 to $5.43 in other non-rural areas; and $4.14 to $6.82 in non-contiguous and rural areas, according to the VGM Group.

WASHINGTON – Non-competitive bidding areas will see a slight decrease in Medicare reimbursement, based on the 2021 fee schedule CMS released earlier this week.

WASHINGTON - The 2020 Medicare fee schedule grants 1.6% to 2.4% CPI-U increases in several categories, AAHomecare reports.The fee schedule includes a 2.4% increase for former competitive bidding areas and a 2.4% increase for diabetes supplies in the national mail-order program.
