Apria, Lincare report earnings

Lake Forest, Calif., and Clearwater, Fla.--Lake Forest, Calif.-based Apria on May 1 reported $528 million in revenues for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008, compared to $390.8 million in revenues for the same period last year. Net income for the quarter was $20.8 million, which the provider described as “flat” compared to last year…Clearwater, Fla.-based Lincare on April 21 reported $415.4 million in revenues for the first quarter compared to $378.5 million in revenues for the same period last year. Net income for the quarter was $60.7 million compared to $53.9 million last year.
