SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Arcadia Resources, which is making a major play in the HME industry, promoted a former Rotech exec to executive vice president. In this newly created position, Jim Haifley will oversee the strategic direction, including sales and operations, of the company's two divisions, Arcadia Services and Arcadia HOME (Home Oxygen Medical Equipment). Haifley joined Arcadia in 2004 as director of business development. Before that, he was a divisional director of operations for Rotech from 2000 to 2004. "(Haifley) will work closely with other Arcadia executives in advancing our acquisition strategy throughout our expanding, national network," said John Elliott, chairman and CEO of Arcadia. The provider supplies everything from DME to mail-order pharmacy services.
