The following product awards were given out at Medtrade in October based on votes by attendees.
The Innovator
Somnetics received the "Innovation Award" for its Transcend. The "Innovation Award" recognizes the new product that best exemplifies top design/high tech/state of the art. The Transcend is a CPAP device and battery system that's lightweight and portable. It also features waterless humidification technology.
Of Merit
Convaid Wheelchairs received the "Merit Award" for its Rodeo Tilt-In-Space Wheelchair. The "Merit Award" recognizes the new product that exemplifies improvement in quality of life. The Rodeo is known for its highly adjustable tilt.
Providers Choice
Briggs Healthcare received the "Providers Choice Award" for its Mabis NebPak Ultrasonic Nebulizer. The award recognizes the new product that exemplifies optimal use of technology. The NebPak Ultrasonic Nebulizer is designed for kids.
