Convaid, Invacare launch charitable initiatives

TORRANCE, Calif. and ELYRIA, Ohio - Convaid, a manufacturer of customized pediatric wheelchairs, created a new Fund-A-Chair Program designed to raise funds for families toward the purchase of a Convaid wheelchair, according to a press release. “Often times families find that loved ones are more than willing to contribute $25 here or there, but don't feel like it's significant enough,” stated Chris Braun, president of Convaid. “By using the new program, people will see that every dollar does count.” The program goes live on June 1...Invacare is sponsoring the 27th annual National Veterans Golden Age Games, scheduled for May 30-June 4 in Buffalo, N.Y., according to a press release. More than 700 senior military veterans, age 55 or older, will compete in 15 competitive events, including swimming, cycling, bowling and air rifles competitions.
