DeVilbiss: 'Positioned to build'

SOMERSET, Pa. - DeVilbiss Healthcare has charged a new senior management team with accelerating the growth of its line of respiratory products. 

DeVilbiss announced July 10 that it has appointed Alan Panzer president and CEO; Joseph Howard vice president of marketing; Erika Laskey, vice president of sales, North America; Michael Panian, vice president/general counsel; Michael Blatzer, vice president of logistics; and Alan Doty, vice president of manufacturing.

“With the success of DeVilbiss' IntelliPAP sleep therapy product line and upcoming introduction of new ambulatory oxygen therapy lines, DeVilbiss is positioned to build on its legacy of quality, service and innovation to drive global growth in the respiratory therapy market,” the manufacturer stated in a release.

The new senior management team will join long-time CFO Larry Price and newly promoted Director of Research & Development Allan Jones.

Previously, Panzer served as president of United State Surgical/Vallylab Company for Covidien, formerly Tyco Healthcare; Howard served as vice president of marketing for Covidien; Laskey served as vice president, global business development, for DeVilbiss; Panian served as vice president of intellectual property for Covidien; Blatzer served as vice president of logistics for Tyco Healthcare Retail Group/Tyco International; and Doty served as global vice president of manufacturing for Covidien.
