Doing business the ‘180 way,’ going on 20 years

Mark JasseyOKLAHOMA CITY – 180 Medical was founded with the goal of providing top-notch service and education to its customers, says Mark Jassey, chief commercial officer.

This month, the national provider of catheters and ostomy supplies celebrates 20 years of doing just that.

“Education is one of our foundational pillars,” Jassey said. “We want to be able to provide the education and the choice when someone needs to use our products. It’s not something someone wants to do – they are nervous, they have questions, they just need help.”

As one of the largest suppliers of catheters in the country, 180 Medical offers products from all the major manufacturers.

180 Medical’s website features hundreds of resources and when coupled with a custom-built ERP system enables the company to not only operate efficiently but also provide a dynamic experience for end users, says Jassey.

“We are the market leader in catheters, and we are the source of a lot of knowledge,” he said. “We are passionate about a very focused group.”

Jassey said 180 Medical’s team is the backbone of the company’s service and education, a vision that has its roots in founder Todd Brown.

“Customers know when you pick up the phone you are talking with someone familiar with the products,” he said. “We’re proud of the team and what it’s done. At the heart of it, we’ve changed tens of thousands of lives, and our patients have better outcomes.”
