Family’s gift creates wheelchair clinic

HONOLULU--One family's gift helped to create the Kosasa Gait and Wheelchair Clinic at The Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, the hospital announced last month. After nearly $150,000 in donations since 1998, the Kosasa family, owners of the ABC Stores, donated another $10,000 to create the clinic, according to reports. Therapists will conduct assessments and assist clinicians with setting up seating systems for patients.
