Housecall sells HME/RT to Apria

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Housecall Medical Resources has finalized the sale of its RT/HME and Infusion businesses to Apria Healthcare Group, effective March, 31 2004.
Included in the transaction are Housecall's RT/HME and Infusion locations in Tennessee and Florida. Under the agreement, Apria is purchasing the assets of Housecall RT/HME and Infusion locations, but not assuming its liabilities.
Housecall opened seven new home health agencies and three new hospice locations in the 4th quarter of 2003 bringing the total number of home health agencies to 59 and hospice agencies to eight. Housecall plans to continue the growth of these businesses through expansion of existing locations and strategic acquisitions.
