Booth 1614 - As an exclamation point on the Jazzy's first decade, Pride Mobility is introducing the Jazzy Select at Medtrade this year. The latest edition of the groundbreaking power chair is the most advanced yet, company officials say.
Engineered with performance and convenience features like the standard Active-Trac Suspension, the Select delivers the advantages of in-line motor technology for enhanced efficiency, torque, range and performance.
The patented mid-wheel drive that originated with the Jazzy allows for greater navigation, turning on a dime in the smallest spaces. Because the drive wheels are directly under the user, designers say it allows the chair to turn in a more natural way.
Additional features of the Jazzy Select include a 40-amp PG Select Remote controller; easy side access to batteries and tool-less front panel access for ease of maintenance; a 300-pound weight capacity; and a 5-amp charger that can be used on- or off-board.
