Medtrade announces key staff change

ATLANTA - VNU Expositions, producers of Medtrade and Medtrade Spring events, today announced that Cory Smith, previously the group show director for Medtrade and Medtrade Spring, will direct VNU Exposition's Building Group, which involves the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (K/BIS), Wood Technology and Multi-Housing World events.
“Cory's strong leadership and vision have greatly benefited the Medtrade events and we wish him great success in his new role at VNU,” says Joe Randall, group president. “Although he will be missed, the Medtrade team will continue to meet the home medical equipment industry's needs in regards to product innovation and introduction, education and networking.”
Zuzette Estevez, who has 10 years of experience with the Medtrade shows, will manage the shows in the interim while the company conducts an industry-wide search for a permanent director.
“I am confident of a smooth transition given Zuzette's knowledge of the industry, her familiarity with our exhibitors and her extensive experience with the Medtrade events,” says Cory Smith. “I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the home medical equipment industry and the highly successful Medtrade shows; however, this is an ideal time for me to pursue new opportunities within VNU Expositions.”
