Montana pays for supplies

HELENA, Mont. - Montana's Medicaid program has agreed to reimburse providers separately for supplies like CPAP masks. In a July 24 notice, the state told providers that reimbursement for rental equipment included all supplies, maintenance and other services. Big Sky argued that the state had been reimbursing supplies separately at least since 2003. "We said, 'We're going to fight this,'" said Peggy Michalsky, vice president of Big Sky Association. "The state came back and said, 'You were right.'"
