NRRTS urges action

TRINIDAD, Colo.--President-elect Barack Obama's economic stimulus package represents an opportunity to educate Congress about the adverse effects of the 9.5% reimbursement cut on Group 3 power wheelchairs, according to NRRTS. Although Congress has said it will “resist including extraneous provisions” in the package, the rehab industry should contact their members of Congress and ask them to support including a provision in the package to reverse the 9.5% cut, according to the group's release. NRRTS also urged its members to contact their local consumer groups.
