Ottobock's Paralympics campaign wins award

MINNEAPOLIS - Ottobock's London “Passion for Paralympics” campaign has won the 2013 Econ Award for public relations excellence, the company announced Oct. 29. Ottobock has been promoting the Paralympics since the 1988 games in Seoul. In 2012, the Ottobock team included 80 technicians speaking 20 languages, according to a press release. During the London Paralympic games, 45,000 visited the company's “Passion for Paralympics” exhibition, 1.2 million visited its “Tropic Zone” at the London Science Museum, and tens of thousands more visited its webpages and viewed YouTube videos.
