HORSHAM, Pa. - Focus Express Mail Pharmacy launched a diabetes-focused blog, www.diabetespharmacist.com, in January, with the goal of helping patients take charge of their lives. Content is contributed by industry professionals and includes current articles, tips, up-to-date research and disease management information. Users can subscribe via e-mail or RSS feed. CEO and co-founder of Focus Express, Joel Shpigel, said in a release he hoped the site would remove information barriers. "Diabetes and chronically ill patients now have a tremendous opportunity to have the type of information needed to manage their lives and health better," he stated.
