Posey Co. inks restraint, fall management deal

ARCADIA, Calif. - The Posey Co. signed a three-year agreement in December with Consorta to provide its line of restraint and fall management products. Per the contract, Posey will provide the healthcare resource management and group purchasing organization with competitive pricing. Consorta will also have access to Posey's line of wheelchair cushions and gait/transfer belts. Consorta's 13 shareholders represent 60% of all Catholic hospitals in the United States. The organization encompasses more than 2,400 sites representing 78,000 patient care needs.
