RemZzzs seeks testimonials refuting Medicare code decision

JACKSON, Mich. - Naturs Design, the manufacturer of RemZzzs CPAP mask liners, is asking for customer testimonials to combat a Medicare billing code decision that makes CPAP mask liners a non-covered item. CMS, in a letter to RemZzzs, said the mask liners are “considered duplicative of what is already provided on the mask,” and assigned the code A9270 to the liners. “The loss of Medicare codes could have a major impact in coverage for those using private insurance as well,” the statement said. In addition to providing written testimonials, RemZzzs is soliciting customers to fill out a short survey.
