Save the date: Medtrade 2006 begins Sept. 19

ATLANTA - Medtrade 2006 will take place a month earlier than expected to avoid overlap with religious holidays, its organizer announced last week.
VNU Expositions will hold next year's event on Sept. 19-21 instead of Oct. 10-12. The venue will remain the same: the Georgia World Congress Center here.
Before shifting the dates, VNU polled associations, exhibitors and attendees to find out whether the new dates conflicted with other industry events. VNU found there were few conflicts, according to its announcement.
The shift in dates affects only Medtrade 2006. Medtrade Spring 2006 will still take place on March 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
