SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Add Lincare to the swelling list of companies that are trying to establish e-CMN relationships with physicians using Trac Medical's CareCert. The companies entered into a “master service agreement” last month.
After Apria, Lincare is the second largest HME in the country with more than 700 locations.
Trac now counts the top five home medical equipment suppliers, including Lincare, as their provider of choice for electronic healthcare forms. While financial terms weren't disclosed, TracMed will generate revenue through monthly license and transaction fees, which will largely be impacted by physician adoption.
"We continue to make strides in providing the healthcare community with a fast, efficient and easy to use alternative to paper forms processing," Jeffrey Frankel, president, TracMed, said in a release. "Our team is actively working with Lincare and other providers on the rollout of our CareCert solution."
