The American Association for Homecare has expanded its membership services by hiring Tucker Ophof as director of membership sales. Ophof will be responsible for recruiting new and retaining current AAHomecare members. Prior to joining AAHomecare, Ophof was a sales manager for United Advertising Media.

Rotech Healthcare appointed Barry E. Stewart as its new chief financial officer. Stewart replaced Janet L. Ziomek, who has resigned for personal reasons. Stewart previously served as chief financial officer of Evolved Digital Systems and as vice president, finance & treasurer of Community Health Systems ... Mary Lacey Reuther, who worked a one-year stint as chair of AAHomecare's RATC council, has moved from the FDA, where she worked as a special assistant to FDA administrator, Mark McClellan, to CMS where she now works as an administrator. ... Tom Arnold will join Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as the new deputy secretary/Medicaid director. Arnold, currently deputy secretary at the Department of Health, will assume his new position on August 1, 2004.
