OneroRx buys NuCara pharmacy and HME locations

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – OneroRx, an integrated pharmacy, has acquired 14 NuCara Pharmacy and 10 NuCara Home Medical Equipment locations in Iowa and Minnesota, bringing its total number of locations to 91 across eight states in the Midwest.
OneroRx, which operates as the largest franchise of the Medicap Pharmacy brand owned by Cardinal Health, will now become the largest rural-based pharmacy in Iowa, filling more than 5 million prescriptions per year, the company says.

CONRAD, Iowa - NuCara Pharmacy & Home Medical, headquartered here, has acquired Hammer Medical Supply, headquartered in Des Moines, Iowa, according to the Times Republican. Per the deal, Hammer Medical Supply will continue operating its nine locations under its own name.
