OneroRx buys NuCara pharmacy and HME locations

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – OneroRx, an integrated pharmacy, has acquired 14 NuCara Pharmacy and 10 NuCara Home Medical Equipment locations in Iowa and Minnesota, bringing its total number of locations to 91 across eight states in the Midwest.
OneroRx, which operates as the largest franchise of the Medicap Pharmacy brand owned by Cardinal Health, will now become the largest rural-based pharmacy in Iowa, filling more than 5 million prescriptions per year, the company says.

EAST NEWTON, Iowa – Medicap Pharmacy of Newton celebrated the grand opening of its new space on June 28, according to the Newton Daily News. The independent pharmacy relocated in November to the former Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy.
