House passes new telehealth bill

WASHINGTON – The House of Representatives last week passed a bill, the Advancing Telehealth Beyond COVID-19 Act, to expand telehealth services. The bill seeks to continue a number of telehealth policies established during the public health emergency through Dec. 31, 2024. Among other things, the bill expands the practitioners eligible to furnish telehealth services, removes geographic requirements and expands originating sites.
