CMS releases draft templates for infusion pumps, nebulizers

WASHINGTON - CMS rolled out more drafts of clinical templates, this time for external infusion pumps and nebulizers, during a Special Open Door Forum on May 3.The agency has been creating the templates, along with clinical data elements, to help reduce the overall provider burden and respond to the push in the public sector toward electronic health records.The product categories chosen for the templates have high improper payment rates, as outlined in a 2017 fiscal year Comprehensive Error Rate Testing report....
