CEO of The Compliance Team honored for leadership

SPRING HOUSE, Pa. – Sandra Canally, founder and CEO of The Compliance Team, has been selected to receive the 2026 Career Achievement Award from Drug Store News. The recognition is part of the eighth annual DSN Top Women in Health, Wellness and Beauty Awards, celebrating exceptional female leadership and long-term dedication to the health care and retail pharmacy industries. “Receiving the Career Achievement Award from Drug Store News is a profound honor,” said Canally. “This recognition affirms an important mission throughout my career to empower health care providers so they can focus on what matters most – providing safe, exceptional care to their patients.” Canally, a registered nurse, founded The Compliance Team in 1994 to address the need for simpler, quality-driven assessment criteria. Under her leadership, The Compliance Team became the first woman-owned health care accreditation organization to receive national deeming authority from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Canally will be officially recognized at an awards ceremony hosted by Drug Store News on Nov. 3-4 in Chicago.
