RICHMOND, British Columbia – HME Medical Distribution is expanding its Athlete Sponsorship Program providing financial support to local athletes. The company says it believes that amateur athletics play a vital role in building stronger, healthier and more connected communities. “As a 100% BC-owned and operated company, HME has always been committed to giving back,” said Robert Boscacci, co-founder and CEO. “Through our HME Gives Back program, our sponsorships of leading charities and now our expanding Athlete Sponsorship Program, we are excited to play a role in supporting local athletes. Athletics have a unique ability to bring communities together, inspire future generations and showcase the incredible talent that exists throughout British Columbia.” The 2026 Athlete Sponsorship Program will support multiple local athletes representing communities across British Columbia in a variety of sports and disciplines. The company says the program provides financial assistance to help offset training, travel, equipment and competition expenses, allowing athletes to focus on achieving their full potential.
