Pandemic tailwinds boost Viemed’s revenues

LAFAYETTE, La. – Viemed Healthcare reported total revenues of $31.2 million for the fourth quarter of 2020, including $5.1 million in sales related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Net revenues for the year were $96.9 million for the company’s core business and $131.3 million overall. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was approximately $9.5 million, a 70% increase over the same quarter in 2019, and adjusted EBITDA for the year was $41.3 million, an increase of 117% compared to 2019. Viemed expects to generate net revenues attributable to its core business of $25.5 million to $26.5 million in the first quarter of 2021, and revenues of $2.3 million to $3.3 million related to the COVID-19 pandemic. “I am extremely proud of the performance of our team during one of the most challenging years for the U.S. health care system,” said Casey Hoyt, CEO. “The pandemic posed more tailwinds than headwinds for us, which resulted in a record year for Viemed. We also remain optimistic about the strategic partnerships, organic growth and acquisition opportunities that we expect to contribute to our expansion in 2021.”
