DALLAS – Tech Talks at Medtrade next month will feature an expanded number of time slots, and, at press time, 12 of those were confirmed by the likes of Tennr, Parachute Health and Valere Health.
Tech Talks, an area carved out on the show floor for companies offering various tech solutions, debuted at Medtrade in 2024 and was a “great success,” says Chris Kinard, COO at Valere Health, its exclusive sponsor.
“It’s a trade show – the whole goal is to make connections and promote products and services,” he said. “So, Tech Talks is all about raising awareness around new and innovative technologies and services in the post-acute care space. This includes ERP vendors but it’s also the ancillary technologies that are being introduced in the market. The companies that are taking advantage of this stage are offering new technologies that automate workflow, for example, or (leverage) AI, machine learning and large language models.”
The other exhibitors signed up as of mid-November are Atlas, Deroyal Industries, Notable Systems, Celeritas, Brightree, Mask Fit AR, Boostlingo, Abbott Diabetes Care and Synthpop.
As part of Tech Talks, each participating exhibitor has a 30-minute time slot, a stage with full audio and visual capabilities and a 50-seat area on the show floor. Last year, Parachute Health opted to host a panel discussion with provider customers.
“It is always great to have customers talk about our product instead of us,” said Rob Boeye, commercial leader-HME for Parachute Health. “(This year), we are doing a major functionality release at Medtrade and offering support to our HME providers like never before from a clinician onboarding perspective, and we'd like to educate them on what that looks like. We plan to discuss Parachute's shift from 'e-prescribing' to holistic order management solutions for HME providers, focusing on how our new AI Intake tool will integrate into our e-prescribe offering.”
As for Valere, Kinard says the company expects to use its time to highlight how the company’s solution makes it easier and more affordable for attendees to add new technologies to their workflow.
“The majority of the presenters on the Tech Talks stage are Valere partners,” he said. “As attendees are looking for ways to improve process and automation, we want them to know Valere is an enabler.”
