ABBOTT PARK, Ill. - The FreeStyle Libre System is the second continuous glucose monitoring system approved for Medicare coverage. The Abbott-manufactured system requires no user calibration, reading glucose levels via a sensor worn on the upper arm. Users simply wave a reader over the sensor to get a reading.
