Stakeholders lean into GAP

WASHINGTON – With support for HME legislation slow-going, industry stakeholders are using the Grassroots Accountability Project (GAP) to take away the “fear factor” around advocacy.

WASHINGTON - A revamped Grassroots Accountability Project led by AAHomecare and VGM now has volunteers in place covering legislative offices in 31 states, but it needs more. There are a total of 535 legislative offices nationwide. “We have a number of other states that are closing down on that goal, as well,” said Ashley Plauch�, assistant director of member and public relations for AAHomecare. “We're shooting for one go-to person for each office, plus others to validate that perspective.”...
