NSM ‘opens up environments’ for clients with new distribution agreement

Photo courtesy of NSMFRANKLIN, Tenn. – National Seating & Mobility (NSM) has signed a strategic distribution agreement for Matia Mobility’s Tek RMD M1 Standing Mobility Platform. The agreement establishes NSM Canada as a flagship partner for the platform in Canada, with coordinated clinical training, dedicated support and coverage through its branch network throughout the country. "Bringing the Tek RMD M1 into our portfolio is a significant step for our Canadian clients," said Jen Casu-Morin, president, NSM Canada. "Our clinicians and technology specialists are focused on matching each client with equipment that fits how they actually live, and this platform opens up environments and everyday activities that would otherwise be out of reach." With one of the smallest footprints in its category, NSM says the Tek RMD M1 allows users to access tight spaces and reach items that would otherwise be out of range from a traditional seated wheelchair. The company says that compact design can also reduce the need for costly home modifications, making it easier for individuals to live and work comfortably in their existing environments. The Tek RMD M1 became available at NSM Canada locations on July 26.
