Remedy Specialty Network merges four organizations

Bill MixonPEARLAND, Texas – Remedy Specialty Network has announced its official launch and rebrand, bringing together four established business units – Remedy Infusion (formerly Altus Biologics), Remedy GPO, Remedy Specialty Distribution (formerly Health Coalition), and Remedy Specialty Pharmacy (formerly Hill Country Pharmacy) – into a single, unified network. As one integrated brand, the organizations give providers and patients access to a full-continuum of specialty drug support spanning supply chain, group purchasing, infusion suite management and pharmaceutical solutions for specialty and biologic drug needs. "We connect specialty providers, manufacturers, pharmacies, and distributors to deliver high-quality infusion care in the lowest-cost care setting," said Brad Clark, chief commercial officer of Remedy Specialty Network. "By enabling providers to remain at the center of the patient journey while simplifying specialty drug administration, we improve the experience for patients and providers while creating greater value across the healthcare system." Remedy Specialty Network says the four business units each bring a distinct capability to the continuum:

  • Remedy Infusion: Biologic infusion program management, buy-and-bill support, GPO-driven drug procurement, and in-office patient oversight for specialty practices.
  • Remedy GPO: Group purchasing power and rebate optimization that improves practice gross profit and secures preferred pricing on specialty medications.
  • Remedy Specialty Distribution: Comprehensive specialty drug sourcing delivered directly to the point of care.
  • Remedy Specialty Pharmacy: Specialty dispensing, clinical and patient support services that ensure therapies reach patients accurately, safely and on schedule.

"We are excited about four companies coming together with a highly coordinated strategy,” said Bill Mixon, CEO of Remedy Specialty Network. “This enhanced structure is focused on ensuring that providers no longer have to undertake the task of connecting those strengths and capabilities themselves. That is what 'Comprehensive solutions for physician-based infusions' signifies to us. It is a promise that every aspect of our network, from procurement to administration, is constructed around what the physician actually requires.”
