NEW YORK and IRVING, Texas – McKesson and CD&R will acquire Option Care Health for $32.05 per share, reflecting a total enterprise value of $5.8 billion. CD&R will hold a majority stake, and McKesson will hold a minority stake.

YARMOUTH, Maine – Recent cybersecurity incidents at AdaptHealth and McKesson have put data security back in the home medical equipment (HME) spotlight. IRVING, Texas – McKesson has announced Wellverse is the new name of the future standalone McKesson Medical-Surgical Solutions business.
As part of its fiscal year 2027 first quarter financial results, the company also noted that on June 9 it established a secured Term Loan B facility of $2.25 billion in support of the planned separation of the business.
