BALTIMORE - Beginning Jan. 6, CMS will withhold payments to providers who provide DMEPOS prescribed by physicians not enrolled in the Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS), the four DME MACs reiterated in a letter to physicians this month.
