WASHINGTON - A bill to create a separate benefit for complex rehab within the Medicare program has been introduced in the House of Representatives.H.R. 2408 was introduced by Reps. Jim Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., and Brian Higgins, D-N.Y., on May 1.This follows the introduction on Monday of S. 1223, a bill that would exempt complex rehab manual and power wheelchairs and any wheelchair accessory, cushion or back when furnished in connection with a wheelchair from Medicare competitive bidding pricing.Earlier...
